Current Research Projects

We are currently designing and raising funds for a public policy research and advocacy project aimed at creating meaningful change for individuals on the autism spectrum, particularly those on the medium to low-functioning range of the spectrum. Over a two- to three-year period, this project will explore the most pressing issues faced by the autism community and propose evidence-based policy solutions that address these challenges.

Our three key focus areas will include:

  • Focus Area 1: Evaluating Malaysia’s current service provision, support, and policies for individuals with autism and their families.
  • Focus Area 2: Investigating the health and well-being of individuals with autism and their caregivers
  • Focus Area 3: Exploring post-early intervention options for individuals with autism

We welcome individuals and organisations to join us in this important initiative—whether through research collaboration, financial support, or participation in case studies. If you or a family member is on the autism spectrum and would be open to being interviewed, we would love to hear from you.

Please reach out to us at insaniautism@gmail.com to get involved. Together, we can shape a future where everyone on the autism spectrum has the opportunity to lead a fulfilling life.
